Magic Kisses A Grief Journey From Heartache to Hope
Magic Kisses is the fictional story of a little girl named Molly's journey through grief and loss, regarding the death of her father. The story, told through Molly's
perspective highlights common experiences and thoughts of children who have
dealt with the death of a loved one. It ends with a message of hope and healing
for Molly and her family.
The Discussion Guide expands further on the common themes of grief and loss
in the story. Practical advice to assist children with their grief is provided.
Talking about grief is critical for the healing process. Many suggestions on how
to start meaningful dialogue with children about their grief are also included.
(Sample of other photos from the book are on this site under heading "More," and sub heading "A Peek Inside Magic Kisses.")
The book has been very well received by those dealing with bereavement issues including: death of a family member or close friend, death of a pet, or miscarriage or pregnancy loss. The wide range of customers includes: parents, teachers, pastors, social workers, funeral homes, and mental health professionals.
PRAISE FOR MAGIC KISSES
"The book Magic Kisses is a gift for anyone who may be having to help a child walk through grief. By showing that it is okay and healthy for children to ask questions and express their emotions, this book will be a great help to many. It can serve as an important tool to help begin conversations with children who are dealing with the loss of a loved one. Magic Kisses is a tender story that brought a tear to my eye as I read it, knowing that it will help many children and families who face deep loss."
- Cindy Rose, Children’s Ministry Director, Western Ontario District of Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada

I received your book today in the mail. As soon as I opened it, and gave it a quick skim, it drew me in to begin reading. It was an easy read, from start to finish. A beautiful looking glossy book, with a perfectly suited title. Magic Kisses captured my attention with sadness for the girls who lost their dad, and then feeling the wonderful transformation of hope and healing for them. The discussion guide that followed is a useful tool. Well done. Thank you.
